During the workshops organized in Katowice, Poland, we were asked to come up with an urban intervention for Ligota District - one of the pearls of Modernism in this region. Our main goal included engaging local community, raising awareness of the architectural heritage of the district and strengthening the local identity. Each design group came up with the participatory initiatives as a tool to boost the community spirit. One of the concepts has been chosen and then realised with the help of SARP - Polish Association of Architects and Katowice City.
